In Tajikistan demining activities are carried out by the following types of organizations; 

Commercial organizations; 
National or international Non-Government Organizations (NGOs);  
Governmental organizations such as the military related groups; 

Currently three demining agencies undertake mine clearance activities in Tajikistan: The Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD), Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), and the Humanitarian De-mining Unit of the Ministry of Defense. All of them are accredited and conduct activities under the monitoring and coordination of Tajikistan Mine Action Centre. All the implementing agencies accredited in Tajikistan are responsible for their own funding.
