I was 10 years old. One day I went to graze our
herd together with my little brother and my brother
in law who saw something in the grass and started
touching it to see what it was. I was sitting very
close to him.
Suddenly there was an explosion. I don’t know what
happened after. I woke up at the hospital later but
I couldn’t see. I never saw anything again. I was
told my brother in law lost his life and my younger
brother was injured as the result of the explosion
and I lost my eyes.
I can’t continue with my studies because I can’t
see. I really don’t know how I can earn money in
the future. Pension for disabilities such as mine
is very small and not enough for a living.
Future is full of uncertainty and darkness for me.
